The Gardening Season has begun!

Gardeners: get ready to pick, plant, prune, and prime our downtown for sunny days ahead! Join us for a spring planting effort on Sat, April 29th at 2pm at the corner of 3rd & Belle. Novices, experts, and everyone in between, please join us the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. as we care for the native plants and flower beds downtown. Our next date is May 3rd! There’s no need to RSVP, but feel free to join the gardening group on Facebook to stay informed and ask questions. (Not on Facebook? No sweat, just CLICK HERE to join our volunteer email list.)

Alton Main Street is always looking for ways to engage groups in downtown beautification efforts, so if you are a part of a church, school, club, or other organization who wants to get involved, please and let us know!
