East End Improvement Association

East End Improvement Association (EEIA), who can trace their roots back to the 1850’s, established its tax exempt (501 (c3) fund raising foundation,East End Foundation, in 2003. EEIA’s noted community projects include sponsoring and organizing the Alton Halloween and Memorial Day Parades along with the Alton Candidates Forum and awarding two(2) scholastic scholarships to graduating High School Seniors.  Their involvement in other various projects include Prides Bucket Brigade, Salvation Army Bell Ringing and partnering with the North Alton Godfrey Business Council on the Benjamin Godfrey Legacy Trail.
