Alton is writing its next chapter that will serve generations to come. Thanks to a grant from East-West Gateway Council of Governments our community has outlined a path towards a livable Downtown destination by reconnecting public assets, strengthening downtown’s resiliency, enhancing the Alton brand and improving safety and connectivity.
