Jacoby Arts Center moved from their legacy building on Broadway to their new location at the foot of State Street in downtown Alton, IL in Winter 2025. Now named Jacoby Arts Center State Street Studios, an opening date is forthcoming in the Spring. This beautiful, historic space is the former location of State Street Market and will now host art classes, clay studio, creative artist spaces, and outdoor performance events in the summer as well as offer studio rentals in a variety of media.
The Jacoby mission is to nurture and promote the practice and appreciation of the arts through education, exhibits, cultural programs, and community outreach initiatives.
